Hey ya’ll, i wanted to share the secrets of how i land in the inbox folder and achieve results like this:

You need 2 things that you HAVE TO keep an eye on

1, Spam complaint rates
2, Bounce rates

And how to make these perform as good as possible?

For the spam complaint rate, the big probability is that you are sending emails that isn’t optimized, meaning you don’t have images compressed, or you just upload image slices.

What i like to do is when working only with image base emails, i’ll put a big text block at the bottom that is invisible, and it boosts deliverability by a LOT

If you nail it i’ll guarantee you will see a decrease in spam complaint rates

Now for the bounce rates, there are a lot of factors that come into play

If you go into your Klaviyo, and click on analytics, deliverability

You’ll see a section called bounce details, from there scroll down a bit and you will see exactly what the problem is

For example if Apple (iCloud) is making 70% of the bounces, then you need to eliminate it from your flows and campaigns, usually there are only a small amount of people that subscribe with an apple gmail.

make a section inside your flows called (properties about someone, Email, doesn’t include, Icloud.

If you do that you will see a lot of improvements in your deliverability.

If it’s google, hotmail or something that contributes a lot of people for your emails, then you either enable double opt-in, or word your pop-up in a way that they will know to add their correct email to receive the discount, item, ebook.

If those are done, you should be good to go!
